Helping San Diego Community

Join Us to offer the love of Christ!!

Join our volunteers for cooking and cleaning the kitchen afterwards at St. Anthony on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday's of each month.

Volunteers can join anytime from 2:30 PM - 6 PM to serve the spaghetti and Costco rotisserie chicken into 125-150 disposable "clam shell" containers. St. Anthony is located at 2825 Merton Ave., San Diego 92111.

Another group is needed to take the food downtown and help give meals to homeless individuals at 6:00 PM near 16th St. and Island Avenue, San Diego.  We are looking for people from any of our San Diego Orthodox Christian Churches who would like to help Anthony prepare the food, clean the kitchen, put the food into the containers and/or take it downtown and/or hand it out to our brothers and sisters in Christ. If you would like to volunteer, please call or text Anthony at 619-987-3246

Paraklesis & Akathist Service

Join us every 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesday to worship with us

The Paraklesis is a service where you can bring down the walls you put around you, bring all your stresses, wishes, hopes, failures and anguishes for you and for whomever you want to pray and offer a supplication to God through an intercession. No person is closer to Him than His mother, the Virgin Theotokos.

We start at 6 p.m. every 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesday

Bible Study

Join us every 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesday to worship with us

The Harmony of the Gospels offers a comparative study chart for Matthew, Mark, Luke and John's Gospel accounts. Categorized by subjects, this study resource allows quick, side-by-side viewing of what each apostle recorded in each of the four Gospels.

We start at 7 p.m. every 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesday

Led by Deacon Anthony Turjman.

Koinonia

Pilgrimage to St Anthony Greek Orthodox Monastery

Have you ever visited or joined a pilgrimage to an Orthodox monastery?

While you can do either, visit for just a day or a pilgrimage for multiple days, at St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Monastery in Florence Arizona.

With the blessing of Fr. John Reimann, from January 22-26 of this year, 8 pilgrims experienced “koinonia” and traveled there to have fellowship, prayer, respite and performed service work.

The pilgrims were Fr. Dn. Anthony Al-Turjman, Nick McGee, Dominic Campos, Alex Williams, Anthony Miller, Scott Lindaman and Henry Schrik.
